Particle Accelerator and Storage Rings

September 11-14, 2001, at KEK

Dear Colleague,

The "International workshop on Two-Stream Instabilities in Particle

Accelerator and Storage Rings" will be held at KEK on September 11-14, 2001

just before the APAC'01 (http://conference.kek.jp/APAC01/) on September

17-21, 2001 at Beijing.

Two-stream instabilities such as ion-beam instabilities at electron

accelerators or electron cloud effects observed at both electron and proton

accelerators can be serious limitations to the performance of existing and

future high-intensity rings.

This workshop is aimed at giving people who are working on various aspects

of two-stream instabilities an opportunity to review experiences, identify

problems and discuss solutions.
